Hi!

I’ve always had a passion for birds and wildlife, but in the last few years I’ve been spending more time visiting nature areas, learning more about bird species, and working on my photography. The boardgame Wingspan reignited my love for birds, and since then I’ve spent a lot of my free time birdwatching.

I’ve been photographing birds with my current equipment since Summer 2023 when I took the plunge and invested in a fancy lens, and I am only at the beginning of my journey!

In this past year I’ve been treated to Sparrowhawks in my garden, witnessing a Marsh Harrier try to take a duck from a lake (it failed!), dozens of Egrets along the coast after the tide went out, a Ringed Plover only just visible in the sands, Swallows flying around me in very close proximity, a very young Common Sandpiper running up to me while I was sitting on a rock, and many more wonderful experiences!
